Eight people were shot in Baltimore on Tuesday including one wounded during a home invasion, again proving the city is one of the most dangerous places to live in America.

In one incident, a group of armed individuals entered a home on Ash Street neat Baldwin on Tuesday evening, demanded money, and then shot the homeowner in the upper body before fleeing.

The home invasion brought the day’s bloodshed to eight shot, Fox 5 reported.

More shocking for city residents was a quintuple shooting at Park Heights and Keyworth Avenue where police initially found two people shot, Fox said.

But as police began investigating the first two victims, officers discovered two more several dozen yards away at a Deli.

Baltimore police are asking those with information to call 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.

Tuesday’s crimes only add to the tally that has made Baltimore the third most dangerous city in America over all, and with 218 murder among its 618,385 residents, has the fifth highest murder rate in the country.
