A group of middle school kids in Ohio has been accused of putting semen and urine in the food they served to teachers.

The kids at Hyatts Middle School in Powell, Ohio, were participating in a cooking contest where teachers were acting as judges, according to WBNS TV.

After the contest was concluded, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a video allegedly showing several kids contaminating the batter for crepes and then cooking the batter for the teachers to eat.

The sheriff’s office reported opening an investigation into the incident, but no children have been named, no charges have been filed, nor have any arrests been made.

An attorney for one of the students warned people not to assume anything of the claims and urged the public to use “caution before reaching any conclusions.”

“[The incident] easily could have been a prank that may have been mocked-up for the purposes of creating a video,” attorney Brad Koffel added. “We don’t know if urine or semen was ever placed in anyone’s food. I don’t know how the school would know that.”

The Olentangy Local School District issued a statement about the allegations:

The safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance. District leadership and local law enforcement are conducting a thorough investigation into this incident, and anyone found in violation of school policies will be held accountable for their actions. We are also focusing our efforts to support the teachers impacted by this incident.
