The Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, has had to close temporarily. However, a generous benefactor is making sure the organization can still help those in need.

The donor, who wished to remain anonymous, gave $125,000 to the Hilton Head Island Boys & Girls Club, WSAV reported.

Kim Linkins, the director of the local club, says the amount will be distributed to eligible members in the form of $500 gift cards to Kroger or Walmart.

“It is an incredible feeling to be able to provide our members with much needed financial support during these difficult times,” Likins told WSAV.

Parents, many of whom work in the service industry, will start picking up the gift cards on Monday to purchase the essentials they need.

Organizers are also making sure the organization can meet the needs of its more than 300 kids when it opens up again.

The organization’s 2020 Gala was canceled, but it is holding an online auction between Monday, April 20, and Monday, April 27.

Some of the big prizes include tickets to the U.S. Open, a Broadway show, and the Metropolitan Opera (once they resume).

The full list of prizes can be viewed here.
