The White House today declined comment when asked for the president’s reaction to the Rachel Dolezal story – just moments after she resigned from the NAACP after she was exposed for falsely portraying herself as an African-American.

At the White House Press Briefing, Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the widely talked about story, and for the president’s reaction.

“The White House does not have any comment, and I haven’t had the chance to talk to him about it,” Earnest said, referring to President Obama.

During the widely distributed story surrounding the former Bruce Jenner’s transgender transformation, the White House confirmed that Obama had a positive reaction to the story.

“[T]he president does believe that Caitlyn Jenner has shown tremendous courage as she has undergone this transition in a very public way,” Josh Earnest said earlier this month.
