1 Year Ago: Texas Deputy Gunned Down In Dark After New Black Panther Chants

One year ago, Harris County Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth walked out of a convenience store to his patrol car and was gunned down in cold blood by a man who snuck up behind him in the dark. Police say there appears to be no other motivation for the shooting than he was wearing a uniform and a badge.

Snoop Dogg to L.A. Police: ‘We Are Here to Show Love and Support’ at March for Peace

Long Beach, California-based rapper Snoop Dogg held a press conference Friday with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck outside the Los Angeles Police Department’s headquarters, where the Grammy-nominated artist said, “We are here to show love and support to the Los Angeles Police Department.”
