Deported Sex Offenders Continue to Exploit Incomplete Border Walls

Sex offenders previously removed from the country by immigration officers continue to exploit outdated or incomplete border walls to regain entry into the U.S. El Centro Border Patrol Sector agents apprehended eight such offenders this fiscal year who illegally crossed into Southern California.

Stiff Sentences Given for Five Human Smuggling Stash House Operators

Five men in the Rio Grande Valley received prison sentences ranging from 16 to 30 years each for their roles in a human smuggling stash house kidnapping scheme. The men stole the human cargo from a stash house and then demanded the victims call family members to pay a ransom for their release. Two other previously deported illegal aliens also received sentences in the case.

Sanctuary NYC Ignores Warrant, Releases Dominican Dealer

Despite an immigration detainer and an arrest warrant from a judge, officials in sanctuary New York City released a drug dealer onto the streets. Immigration agents moved quickly to arrest the previously deported Dominican national before he could commit other crimes.

Border Patrol Agents Attacked for Doing Their Jobs in Media

Media outlets attacked Border Patrol agents for entering a “camp” run by an illegal alien support organization in the deserts of southern Arizona. The group forced agents who had tracked four illegal aliens into the camp to obtain a warrant prior to entering the camp.

Border Patrol Union Honors Agent Killed by Illegal Aliens

Border patrol and union officials were able to provide full honors to one of their agents who was killed trying to protect his family from two criminal illegal aliens. The honors came after a two-year fight by Border Patrol union officials and leaders of Congress to have the agent’s death classified as a line of duty death.
