In a campaign dubbed 100 Days of Liberal Lawlessness, the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) told reporters on a conference call on Wednesday that it is a “dereliction of duty” for Democrat leaders in cities facing destructive and even deadly riots not to quell the violence or seek help from the federal government to restore law and order.

Chad Wolf to Portland Mayor: End Riots or Feds ‘Will Have no Choice but to Protect our American Citizens’

Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf responded to a letter Democrat Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler sent to President Donald Trump that said he did not want help to quell the destructive and deadly riots that have continued nightly. Wolf said that not only does federal law enforcement have the authority and responsibility to protect federal property, it could be soon that the American people need protection.

Oregon Sheriffs Reject Gov. Kate Brown’s Request to Assist Portland

Law enforcement agencies in the State of Oregon are denying Gov. Kate Brown’s (D) request to assist with unrest in Portland, citing the “lack of political support for public safety, the uncertain legal landscape, the current volatility combined with intense scrutiny on use of force” which “presents an unacceptable risk if deputies were deployed directly.”
