Monday on CBS’s “This Morning,” 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) touted herself as “the best candidate to run against President Trump.”
Gillibrand reasoned that she “can bring the country back together” because she did the same thing in New York.
“The truth is, I am the best candidate to run against President Trump because I can bring this country back together,” Gillibrand outlined. “I can not only inspire the base on progressive issues I’m running on like actually passing a Green New Deal, Medicare for all — health care as a right, not a privilege, but to reach out to red and purple voters to be heard and have them come to the table and be represented.”
