Army Reserve officer Deshauna Barber was crowned Miss USA on Sunday, after the 26-year-old and her fellow contestants answered a series of questions that proved controversial to some viewers on social media.


Reelz to Broadcast Miss USA, after NBC and Univision Dropped Trump

Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard released a statement Thursday saying the cable and satellite channel recently acquired the rights, adding that he thinks the women who compete in the pageant “are an integral part of American tradition.” “As one of only a few independent networks, we decided to exercise our own voice and committed ourselves to bringing this pageant to American viewers everywhere,” Hubbard stated.
