Russian Film Crew Arrives to Make First Movie in Space

A Russian actress and director on Tuesday arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) in a bid to best the United States and film the first movie in orbit. The Russian crew is set to beat a Hollywood project that was announced last year by “Mission Impossible” star Tom Cruise together with NASA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

Church of Scientology to Launch a TV Network

The Church of Scientology is about to get its own television channel starting Monday. A Twitter handle, website and app for Scientology TV appeared Sunday posting updates to hype the network’s availability on DIRECTV, AppleTV, Roku, fireTV, Chromecast, iTunes and Google Play.

The new Scientology Church and center stands illuminated two days before its official opening January 11, 2007 in Berlin, Germany. Scientology is controversial in Germany, as critics charge it is not a church at all but a commercial enterprise. The German state refuses to recognize the group as a church. …
