New York, October 18 (QNA) – The UN Security Council urged to support Iraq and its government against the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria “ISIS” organization and groups associated with it in Iraq.
The Security Council urged in a statement the international community and in accordance with international law to further enhance and expand support for the Iraqi government, including Iraqi security forces in fight against ISIS organization and armed groups associated with it.
The military alliance led by the United States bombed the fighters of ISIS who control a large area of land in both Iraq and Syria.
