1600 Migrants Released in One New Mexico City over 10 Days

Officials in Las Cruces, New Mexico, reported on Monday that Border Patrol agents released nearly 1,600 migrants in their community over a 10-day period. The City was forced to spend about $75,000 for humanitarian assistance.

Border Patrol agents took a fugitive alleged child sex offender off the streets after responding to a call for assistance from local police in New Mexico. The agents identified the man as a previously deported Mexican national wanted on a charge of “Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Minor.”
