University of Kansas to Offer Course on ‘Angry White Male Studies’

The University of Kansas will be offering a new course called “Angry White Male Studies” beginning in the 2019 fall semester. The course is said to examine the “angry white male” and the “deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger.”

University of Texas Re-Brands ‘Toxic Masculinity’ Program After Blowback

The University of Texas at Austin says the program they halted last spring following criticism it treated masculinity as toxic and as a “mental health issue” is back, re-branded, and determined to uphold its original intent to “engage men in discussions about masculinity as one tool to prevent violence.”
