Illegal Alien Arrests at Border Fall to 263 Per Day During Trump’s First Two Months — Down 94 Percent from Last Year

Aggressive enforcement actions along the U.S.-Mexico border led to a nearly 94 percent drop in the apprehension of illegal aliens attempting to enter the United States. The apprehension of migrants by Border Patrol agents fell to approximately 263 per day during the first two months of the Trump administration from more than 4,600 per day during the same period last year.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested more than 1,000 illegal alien workers and have uncovered sufficient evidence of immigration employment violations to justify the proposal of $1 million during the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s administration. Robert Hammer, ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations acting Executive Associate Director, says, “This is the highest rate of arrest in HSI’s history.”

Democrat Senator Asks for Meeting with Salvadoran President, Demands Return of Deported MS-13 Gang Member

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) is requesting a meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele to demand the return of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia — a known MS-13 gang member deported to El Salvador. Abrego-Garcia, who a judge has found to be a member of the MS-13 gang, was removed as the result of an administrative error, according to ICE officials. Van Hollen has promised to travel to El Salvador if Abrego-Garcia is not returned.

Trump Admin Updates Citizenship Naturalization Documents to Reflect Two-Biological-Sexes Policy

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a Department of Homeland Security agency responsible for administering the nation’s immigration and naturalization system, announced policy updates reflecting the Trump administration’s policy of recognizing only two biological sexes — male and female. On Wednesday, the agency announced the alignment of its current policy manual with an inauguration day executive order signed by President Trump that aims to restore biological truth to the federal government.

Giant Migrant Rights March Coming to Dallas, Will ICE Show Up?

A large march promoting immigration reform that could see more than 10,000 people march from Dallas City Hall is set to take place on Sunday. At least one report questions whether ICE will show at the large congregation of migrants hoping for relief via legislation from the Trump administration’s stance on mass deportation.
