Border Patrol agents apprehended approximately 7,000 migrants during the past three days, according to sources operating within U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This includes the approximately 3,000 migrants crossing on Wednesday morning.

Up to 3,000 migrants are being staged in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and are preparing to cross the border into Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday. Breitbart Texas watched as hundreds of migrants began to form groups and crossed the Rio Grande into the United States.

A local non-government church-run shelter forced migrants without sufficient funds to cover their transportation costs out onto the streets of Eagle Pass, Texas. Blaine Sector Border Patrol agents found a group of 29 migrants on a train that crossed the Canadian border into the state of Washington on August 31. The migrants included 28 Mexican nationals and one citizen of Colombia.

Border Patrol officials stated that three Mexican nationals assaulted a Swanton Sector agent after the group illegally crossed the border from Canada on August 20. All three face charges of assault on a federal agent.
