Feds Ask Texas to Help with Del Rio Bridge Detention Camp Crisis

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials requested help from Texas officials to stem the growing humanitarian crisis in Del Rio where more than 9,000 migrants are detained under a bridge. Texas Governor Greg Abbott responded by sending additional DPS troopers and National Guard units to “shut down six ports of entry” and “stop the caravans from overrunning our state.”

DEL RIO, Texas — Breitbart Texas was provided video by Congressman Tony Gonzales’ (R-TX) staff showing the mostly Haitian migrants being held in a makeshift detention camp under the Del Rio International Bridge. The head count now stands at 9,000, according to a source within Customs and Border Protection.

DEL RIO, Texas — A source within CBP provided Breitbart Texas new video depicting the unsanitary conditions agents and detainees are subjected to at a makeshift camp under the local international bridge. The camp, as of Wednesday, houses more than 4,000 mostly Haitian migrants. The site is used as a temporary detention area due to facility overcrowding in the area. The location is expected to swell to 5,000 inhabitants by the end of the day.

Arizona First State to Sue Biden Administration over Vaccine Mandate

The state of Arizona has sued the Biden-Harris Administration over the “egregious” vaccine mandate, which Attorney General Mark Brnovich argues violates the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause by discriminating against U.S. citizens because illegal immigrants in federal law enforcement’s custody are not subordinate to the same vaccine mandates.
