My 6-2-2 rule
6 terms for the House of Representatives
2 terms for the Senate
2 terms for the President as it exists
We get continuity in government with the necessary overlap of terms.
No lobbying for 2 years after leaving office and save the complaints about making a living. You choose to run for office and these are the rules.
Update 4:13PM:
Add a 1 year moratorium on running for any other office at the Municipal, State or Federal level.
