I reflect on my own experience as a White House whistleblower. I vividly recall the enormous feeling of helplessness coupled with something far more powerful. It was the sense of physically being compelled to act, that the element of choice had been stripped away. It was enough to put everything on the line. And it is something all bona fide whistleblowers have in common. It’s a lonely place to be, a frightening place, too.
In the mere weeks since taking office, President Trump has faced unprecedented and targeted illegal leaks at the highest level of government. There is a highly orchestrated shadow government undermining his every move. The players are out in force and the plan is clear.
The Obama administration, senior members of the intelligence community and much of the news media have expressed panic over an unverified “dossier” of evidence against President-elect Donald Trump and outrage at the formerly acclaimed organization Wikileaks. This compared to the relative apathy towards one of the largest security hacks in the federal government’s history, belie a double-standard that can only be political.
What is it with these women? Thanks to the Hillary and Jill Show, we keep hearing about recount efforts and the popular vote. This is a national rabbit hole no one actually needed to explore.
Arguably at no time since the aftermath of the Civil War has there ever been a time when unity in America was more critical. In a unique position to facilitate that unity, Hillary Rodham Clinton will choose instead to champion divisiveness by actively questioning the outcome of the election.
She’s finally done it. The country faces a possible constitutional crisis should Hillary win the election. With a federal criminal investigation of the President-Elect underway, President Obama might well issue a preemptive presidential pardon on his way out the door.
