Joe Manchin Under Fire: Pressure Mounts in WV on Kavanaugh Vote

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) was told by passers by at Sunday’s West Virginia Pumpkin Festival in Milton, WV, to vote in favor of confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. He sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee and has abstained from committing to vote one way or another, claiming to want more time to consider Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Ronan Farrow: Senate Democrats Pursued Second Kavanaugh Accuser

The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow told ABC’s Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos Monday morning that Deborah Ramirez, the second woman to bring forward a decades-old sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, made her accusation public after “Senate Democrats” pursued her.
