Kinzinger Channels Paul Ryan: Slams Drudge Report For ‘Misinformation’ on Obamatrade

In reference to Kinzinger also claiming it isn’t a “secret deal” – that’s also untrue. TiSA and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) – two of Obama’s trade deals – have not been made public and even members of Congress can’t read them yet. Furthermore, TPP is being kept in a secured room for only House and Senate members to review – again not allowing public access.

With a generous baker’s dozen preening and jockeying for early attention, this Republican presidential nomination fight appears to be turning into another none-of-the-above contest. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker crashed this week’s Drudge Poll by collecting 46 percent of votes, and that was in a pared-down field of 13 possible candidates.

Yes, Drudge Report Is Still the Mac Daddy

Matt Drudge posts headlines long before the mainstream media have caught on and shines his traffic spotlight on stories he deems important. That, in turn, drives mainstream news coverage – or, in some cases, as with Obamacare, perhaps not. And that’s the point: the media need Drudge to point them in the right direction, apparently, but Drudge doesn’t need the media to make a story huge.
