CNN’s Yurkevich: PA Voters ‘Still Pretty Confused’ on Biden’s Fracking Position

Monday, CNN business and politics correspondent Vanessa Yurkevich reported that voters in Western Pennsylvania were “still pretty confused” on 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s position on fracking. Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), have both said on the campaign trail they support banning fracking, although Biden recently claimed during the final presidential debate that he never said he opposed fracking.

Under Trump, America Became a Net Exporter of Natural Gas and Crude Oil for the First Time in More than Fifty Years

So much of America’s energy boom during Trump’s tenure can be attributed to his stated strategy of “energy dominance.” The White House’s Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) 2020 report found that in 2017 the United States became a net exporter of natural gas. It was a feat not seen since 1958. The United States became a net exporter of crude oil and petroleum products and will likely remain a net exporter for all of 2020 for the first time since 1949.
