Large Group of 231 Migrants Apprehended at Arizona Border

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a large group of mostly Central American migrants early Tuesday morning. The agents took 231 into custody in the remote area west of the Lukeville Port of Entry.

140 Pounds of Meth, Heroin, and Fentanyl Seized at U.S. Border

U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and Border Patrol agents seized approximately 140 pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl at the Arizona border during three separate inspections on the afternoon of September 27.

Border Patrol Station Agents Apprehend 270 Migrants in One Day

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Ajo Station in southwest Arizona apprehended nearly 270 migrants in less than 24 hours. The apprehensions illustrate the trend of migrant crossing in the dangerous Arizona desert continues in increasing numbers.

Migrants Illegally Entering Arizona by Hundreds, Says Border Patrol

Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector are witnessing significant increases in the number of migrants crossing illegally from Mexico. In roughly two weeks, four groups were apprehended–each consisting of more than 100 adults and children.
