Exclusive Photos: Migrants from Around the World Stream Across ‘Closed’ Border into Arizona

More than 300 migrants walked through open storm drain gates in the border wall just west of Lukeville to surrender to Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents early Tuesday morning. Breitbart Texas watched as the migrants queued at the border wall before walking through the Organ Pipe National Monument Reserve, hoping to gain release into the United States. The group included migrants from several African nations, India, Pakistan, Ecuador, and Peru.

Sen. Grassley: Sinaloa Cartel Killed DEA Cooperators While Agency Played Politics with Indictments

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration slow-walked an investigation into the Sinaloa Cartel faction of Los Chapitos and played politics with other federal agencies, according to U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) in a letter sent to the U.S. Department of Justice. The senator claimed that the DEA and the U.S. Attorney’s office delayed investigations and cooperation with other agencies while the drug lords killed two cooperators in Mexico and continued spreading their drug empire and fentanyl distribution.

Texas Senate ‘Jurors’ Soundly Reject Motions to Dismiss in Paxton Impeachment Trial

The first morning of the impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Warren Ken Paxton, Jr., began with consideration of Paxton’s motions to dismiss the articles of impeachment. The Texas senators serving as jurors soundly rejected Paxton’s argument that the Prior-Term “Forgiveness” Doctrine should result in the dismissal of the impeachment proceedings.

Live Stream: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Impeachment Trial — Day 1

The impeachment trial of suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton begins at 9 a.m. CDT on Tuesday. The trial is expected to last at least two to three weeks as House impeachment managers present witness testimony and more than 4,000 pages of evidence. Paxton’s lawyers are expected to move for the articles of impeachment to be dismissed under the “prior term doctrine,” claiming the alleged offenses occurred before the last election.

Texas Attorney General’s Impeachment Trial Begins

The Texas Senate impeachment trial of suspended Attorney General Warren Kenneth Paxton, Jr. begins on Tuesday, September 5. Paxton, a former Texas state senator, faces sixteen articles of impeachment. Paxton must enter a guilty or not guilty plea to each article brought against him.

A single group of nearly 300 migrants walked through gates in the border wall welded open by the Biden administration west of Lukeville on Labor Day morning. The migrants eventually surrendered to Border Patrol agents at a nearby rally point. Breitbart Texas posted along the border in the small town and observed as Border Patrol agents prepared the migrants for transport to a Border Patrol processing center.

According to a source within CBP, the cost to accommodate the recent spike in migrant encounters in the Tucson Border Patrol Sector is rising rapidly as existing processing facilities reach their capacity. With an operating cost of nearly $7 million each month, one facility in Tucson is undergoing an expansion project to double its capacity to hold migrants. The cost to operate the facility, according to the source, will double as well.

In what has become an almost daily occurrence, a large group of more than 100 migrants crossed the Rio Grande just north of Eagle Pass to surrender to awaiting Border Patrol agents during the early morning hours on Friday. Shortly after 4:00 a.m., Breitbart Texas watched as the large group of mostly family unit migrants approached a rallying point staffed by the Border Patrol, where they surrendered to claim asylum.

Texas Guardsman Should Not Have Shot Gunman to Save Migrant, Says Mexican President

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador criticized the actions of a Texas National Guardsman who fired at a suspected cartel gunman from across the border to save a group of migrants being attacked. Even though the Texas soldier saved the migrants from imminent danger, the Mexican politician claimed the shooting was an affront to his country’s sovereignty.

A Texas National Guard soldier shot and wounded a suspected cartel operative in Mexico while witnessing a violent assault on a group of migrants preparing to cross the border into the United States, according to sources within the Texas government. The Guardsman reportedly observed the man armed with a pistol and a machete beating a migrant on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande near El Paso.

Another Killing Field Discovered in Cartel-Controlled Border City in Mexico

Authorities and human rights activists found another cartel-connected killing field located just south of the Texas-Mexico border. Cartel gunmen are believed to have incinerated an unknown number of victims. The discovery of the killing field and several clandestine mass graves come at a time when Tamaulipas government officials publicly claim that crime is down under their watch.
