US State Department: 181 Americans Murdered in Mexico Since 2013

Nearly two hundred U.S. citizens have been murdered in Mexico since 2013. Fierce gunfights, kidnappings, bus hijackings, car-jackings and extortion by Mexican cartels are all possibilities that could be faced by U.S. citizens travelling into Mexico. These have resulted in the murder of 181 Americans in the past two years.

14 Mexican Federales Arrested for Running Kidnapping Crew Near Texas Border

Fourteen Mexican federales have been arrested for running a kidnapping crew that had been targeting Mexican businessmen near the Texas border.

The Mexican Army arrested the fourteen agents and rescued the businessman this week in the border city of Matamoros, according to information released to Breitbart Texas by Mexican federal investigators.

Mexican Tourists Now Traveling with Police Escorts to the US Border

REYNOSA, Tamaulipas — The ever worsening security situation in Mexico has led to a new mode of transportation for Mexican tourists that includes traveling in a convoy with police escorts at speeds of 100 miles an hour or more — all in an effort to avoid getting carjacked by drug cartels on their journey to the U.S. border.
