China Claims It Has No Illicit Fentanyl Trade with Mexico

China’s government publicly claimed that it has no illicit Fentanyl trade with Mexico and it is up to the U.S. to stop its current opioid crisis. The statement from China comes days after Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador made international headlines by claiming that his country was not a producer of Fentanyl and it was up to the U.S. and not him to stop the flow from other countries.

Major Sheriff’s Associations Call for ‘Eradication’ of Mexican Drug Cartels 

The largest sheriff’s associations in the country called for the eradication of Mexican drug cartels and for the public to pressure their elected officials to do something about it. The groups called for action to start against the two most powerful criminal organizations in Mexico. The call for action by the sheriffs comes follows 21 state attorneys general called for cartels to be designated as terrorist organizations.

A former Tesla employee has filed a formal whistleblower complaint with the SEC alleging that Tesla failed to disclose that authorities had discovered an alleged drug trafficking scheme involving an employee at the firm’s “Gigafactory” plant in Nevada. Among the other claims in the complaint, the whistleblower also describes the theft of more than $37 million worth of copper from Elon Musk’s Nevada facility.

42 Bodies Found in Mass Grave near Popular Mexican Tourist City

Authorities reported the discovery of a mass grave containing at least 42 bodies on the outskirts of a popular Mexican tourist port city near the Arizona border. The grisly discovery occurred just outside Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, also known as Rocky Point — located approximately 60 miles south of Arizona.
