For decades, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival has ranked as one of the nation’s preeminent theater institutions, drawing hundreds of thousands of theatergoers each year to scenic Ashland to see the classics performed. But that sterling reputation is in jeopardy as the company teeters on the brink of Chapter 11 bankruptcy following a troubled tenure by its recently departed artistic director, Nataki Garrett.

‘Woke’ DOD Education Officer Removed Following Rep. Elise Stefanik Advocacy

A Defense Department (DOD) education officer accused of “racist” posts and spreading “woke” ideologies within its school systems was relieved from her post, announced House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) after the congresswomen had brought attention to the matter, demanding action from the Pentagon while calling for “transparency” in the department’s education for children of military families.

De Anza College Diversity Director Says She was Fired for Questioning School’s ‘Anti-Racism’ Policies

A faculty director of the Office of Equity, Social Justice and Multicultural Education at De Anza College in Cupertino, California, says her contract was not renewed after she questioned the school’s so-called “anti-racism” policies. The diversity director, a black woman, added that she experienced “hostility, harassment, and bullying” after speaking out.
