35% of All Government Personnel Wrongdoing Complaints Filed By VA Employees

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC), responsible for overseeing whistleblower disclosures and investigating whistleblower retaliation throughout the federal government, expects to receive over 1,400 “prohibited personnel practices complaints” from Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees in 2015 alone.

“Government works better now than it probably ever has, given what we ask it to do,” he said confidently, assuring that he was able to improve many functions of government during his time as president. Best Director Winner Blasts Mexican Government

Sunday night’s Academy Awards was littered with political commentary, with Best Director winner Alejandro González Iñárritu no exception as he dedicated Birdman’s Best Picture win to his fellow Mexicans, “who live in Mexico.” Iñárritu’s comments echo prior statements made by last year’s Best Director and fellow Mexican, Alfonso Cuarón, slamming Mexican government officials over systematic corruption.
