Migrant Toddler Smuggling Scheme Discovered in Texas Border City

An investigation after the apprehension of two migrants who illegally entered the U.S. in El Paso, Texas, led to the discovery of the fraudulent smuggling of a one-year-old child. An alleged smuggler attempted to illegally cross the child using fraudulent documents two days earlier through the El Paso Port of Entry.

Migrant’s Body Found on Texas Ranch 90 Miles from Southern Border

A South Texas sheriff’s office deputy recovered the body of a recently deceased migrant on a ranch located about 90 miles from the U.S-Mexico border. The migrant appeared to die near the end of his attempt to march around the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint on U.S. Highway 281.

WATCH: Guatemalan Security Forces Push Migrant Caravan Back

Guatemalan security forces used tear gas and batons to push back a migrant caravan attempting to make its way to Mexico and on to the United States. The soldiers and law enforcement lined up three or four rows deep to create a blockade to the migrants’ progress.

Migrant Caravan Heading to U.S.A.

Guatemalan officials announced the deployment of 4,000 soldiers to patrol its southern border to stop another group of caravan migrants from making their way north. U.S. Customs and Border Protection warned the migrants about the risks associated with the perilous and often deadly journey that will not lead to successful entry into the United States.

4 Human Stash Houses Busted in One Week in Texas near Border

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents raided four human smuggling stash houses near the Texas border with Mexico during the past week. The raids led to the apprehension of nearly 100 migrants who were recently smuggled across the border. Additionally, agents found 24 migrants stashed in three vehicles being driven by suspected human smugglers.

42 Migrants Found in Three Crowded Texas Stash Houses near Border

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents teamed up with local law enforcement and other federal agents to disrupt three human smuggling stash houses near the Texas border with Mexico. Agents apprehended 42 migrants over two days in three stash houses — none were wearing masks or other protective gear to prevent the spread of  COVID-19.

18 Migrants Rescued from Frigid Rio Grande Border River
