120 Bangladeshi Migrants Apprehended at Texas Border Since Oct 1

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector captured eight additional Bangladeshi nationals who illegally crossed the border from Mexico over the Thanksgiving weekend. The arrests bring the total for the new fiscal year, which began October 1, to more than 120.

Bangladeshi Migrants Rescued from Drowning on Texas Border

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector rescued a group of Bangladeshi nationals after they nearly drowned in the Rio Grande. The sector led the nation in Fiscal Year 2018 for the apprehension of Bangladeshi migrants.

DACA Recipient Arrested for Alleged Human Smuggling in Texas

Agents assigned to the Laredo Sector arrested a former recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on charges of human smuggling after a call for assistance from Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers.
