90-Year-Old Navy Veteran Killed in Brazen Daylight Carjacking in Texas

A 90-year-old Navy veteran was killed in front of his apartment complex by an unknown assailant who shot the man, stole his vehicle, and ran over the elderly man in Houston on Saturday. Police say they have yet to locate the assailant but found the man’s vehicle abandoned at another apartment complex several miles away. A search for the killer is currently underway.

GUILTY: CBP Officer Abducted, Sexually Assaulted Minor near Arizona Border

It took an Arizona jury two days of deliberation to reach a guilty verdict in the trial of former Customs and Border Protection Officer Aaron Mitchell. The jury found the man guilty of both a federal civil rights offense and a kidnapping charge related to the sexual assault and kidnapping of an Arizona middle school student. The jury also found that the defendant’s conduct included aggravated sexual abuse that resulted in bodily injury.

Wild Speculation Follows Release of Gulf Cartel Supreme Leader-Los Zetas Founder

Speculation is running wild on both sides of the border following the release from prison of a man once known as the supreme leader of the Gulf Cartel and founder of Los Zetas. Some individuals were expecting him to return to his hometown and reclaim the reigns of his criminal organization. Others claimed he would stay in the U.S. under witness protection. The issue caused widespread speculation and rumors to spread like wildfire.

Mexico Hints U.S. Government Covering Up Kidnapping, Arrest of Drug Lord

Mexican authorities are insinuating that the U.S. government played a role in the alleged kidnapping of a top drug lord who was flown north of the border by his rivals and turned over to authorities. The allegations are part of an ongoing federal kidnapping and treason investigation undertaken by Mexican authorities following the arrest of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, one of the supreme leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Cruise Ship Employee Gets 30 Years for Filming Children with Hidden Cameras

A U.S. District Court judge sentenced a Philippine national to 30 years in federal prison for placing hidden cameras in cruise ship passenger bathrooms to film children. The United States Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Florida announced the sentencing on Wednesday of 34-year-old Arvin Joseph Mirasol for placing the hidden cameras since December 2023.
