Senator Alejandro “Alito” Moreno, head of Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), publicly accused MORENA Senate Coordinator Adán Augusto López of enabling cartel operations while serving as interior secretary and governor of Tabasco. He announced Tuesday that his party had formally asked U.S. federal agencies to investigate López’s alleged role in fuel smuggling, money laundering, and organized crime.

Texas Deputies Arrest Armed Suspect Who Allegedly Set Up to Ambush Cops

Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call for service and appear to have averted an ambush by the grace of God. When the deputies arrived at the location in Humble, Texas, in the dark, a man wearing all black opened fire from the woods. The lives of the deputies appeared to have been spared when the suspect’s rifle jammed and he was unable to clear it.

Secret Service Busts Massive Network Used in Swatting Attacks Against Marjorie Taylor Greene, Other Republicans

The Secret Service has uncovered a vast network of over 100,000 SIM cards and 300 servers in the New York area, believed to be used by foreign “nation-state threat actors” and criminals for swatting calls targeting prominent conservatives and potentially disabling cell phone towers. The amount of hardware seized in the bust could be used to hamper cell service in New York City.
