Deported Criminal Aliens Continue to Exploit Unsecured U.S. Border Areas

Border Patrol agents along the U.S. southwest border with Mexico continue to arrest previously deported criminal aliens who exploit weaknesses in barrier technology to re-enter the country. Those criminal aliens include child sex offenders, violent criminals, and members of transnational criminal gangs.

Deported Sex Offenders Continue to Exploit Incomplete Border Walls

Sex offenders previously removed from the country by immigration officers continue to exploit outdated or incomplete border walls to regain entry into the U.S. El Centro Border Patrol Sector agents apprehended eight such offenders this fiscal year who illegally crossed into Southern California.

Twice-Deported Child Sex Offender Busted 375 Miles from Texas Border

A Texas constable’s office deputy apprehended a twice-deported child sex offender after the criminal alien allegedly attempted to avoid detection by using a fake identity. The Mexican national has multiple convictions in California for sex offenses against children — some under the age of 14.

Three Sex Offenders Arrested in Single Day After Crossing Texas Border

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents stopped three sex offenders from successfully re-entering the U.S. after they illegally crossed the border into Texas. Two of the criminal aliens had convictions for sexual offenses against children — the third for sexual battery.

Five Gang Members Arrested near Texas Border in One Day

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector stopped five members of violent gangs from successfully making their way into the U.S. interior in separate incidents. The agents also stopped two previously deported child sex offenders as well.

Child Sex Offenders, Gang Members Arrested near Texas Border

Rio Grande Valley Sector agents arrested multiple sex offenders and violent gang members during a two-day period beginning on November 26. Those included two MS-13 members, an 18th Street member, an alleged sex offender with an active warrant, and two men convicted for other sexual offenses.

Feds Seek Prison Time for Previously Deported Child Rapist

Federal prosecutors seek prison time for an Ecuadorian man who immigration officers previously deported following a child sexual assault conviction. The man received a conviction from a Chicago court in 2002 for assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Immigration officers deported him to Ecuador in 2004.

Child Sex Offender Busted After Illegally Crossing Arizona Border

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents stopped another previously deported child sex offender from successfully re-entering the U.S. Immigration officers previously deported the Mexican national after a Florida court convicted him for sex offenses involving a child.
