Data released by the Department of Homeland Security show more than 50,000 migrants released by the agency with instructions to report to ICE once at their desired U.S. location have failed to do so. The Notice to Report (NTR) process was instituted to help the Border Patrol ease detention facility overcrowding in 2021.

Feds Intercept 176 Haitian Migrants in Sailboat off Florida Coast

A Customs and Border Protection flight crew detected a grossly overloaded vessel 25 miles northeast of Anguilla Cay, Bahamas. The aircrew notified the Coast Guard on Monday night and coordinated a joint interdiction. Personnel onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Paul Clark intercepted the vessel near Key Largo, Florida, and discovered 176 Haitians aboard.

EXCLUSIVE: Migrant Drowns in Waste Pit near Border in Texas

EAGLE PASS, Texas — A migrant drowned in an abandoned industrial waste pit after attempting to flee Texas Army National Guardsmen. The pit is located near the Rio Grande just south of the city. According to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the migrant submerged and did not resurface on Friday night.

50 Migrants Found in California Freight Trains near Border

El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents in Niland, California, discovered a group of migrants aboard a northbound freight train attempting to bypass the established highway checkpoint. In one event, agents found 26 migrants hiding in the rail cars. Information provided by the group led to the eventual arrest of an additional 16.
