NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (AP) - (Kyodo)—New York gold futures kept rising Tuesday with the key contract registering a new closing record of $1,102.50 an ounce amid expectations of a weaker dollar.

Most-active gold for December delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange's Comex division ended $1.10 higher, scoring a record closing high for six trading days in a row. The contract finished higher for the seventh consecutive trading day.

Traders continued to shift funds into safe-haven gold amid declining value of dollar-quoted assets, market analysts said.
