After trying to hide information, the government of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas was forced to issue a series of warnings about the widespread use of cartel land mines and explosive devices in the northern part of the state. The warnings followed initial reporting by Breitbart Texas of a government vehicle striking a makeshift landmine near the state’s border with the U.S.

Mexico Claims It is Receiving Migrant Flights Without Issues One Day After Colombia’s Refusal

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum claimed her government had been seamlessly working with U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s administration to receive thousands of deported migrants. The comments come just one day after President Trump threatened to impose punitive tariffs on Colombia after President Gustavo Petro refused to accept deportation flights. The Colombian president quickly folded under the threats.

DOJ Directs Prosecutors to Investigate State, Local Officials Interfering with Immigration Enforcement

In support of executive orders signed by President Donald Trump on Monday, the Department of Justice directed prosecutors to investigate state and local officials who obstruct federal enforcement actions related to immigration law. A memo from the acting deputy attorney general also creates a “Sanctuary Cities Enforcement Working Group” to focus on these threatened obstruction issues.

Maine’s Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) Director John Hudak told state legislators he is aware that his office has been issuing marijuana grow licenses to persons associated with Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO). On Wednesday, Hudak told members of the state legislature’s Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee that his agency cannot deny the medical licensing requests.
