Portland Police Detain 100 Antifa Rioters, Arrest 13

Portland Police Bureau officers surrounded and temporarily detained about 100 Antifa protesters after they vandalized multiple businesses in the Pearl District. Police identified and photographed all of the protesters, and some journalists, and placed 13 people under arrest.

Antifa Caused $2.3M in Riot Damage to Federal Property in Oregon, Says U.S. Attorney

The U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon estimated the cost of repairing damage to federal buildings in Portland caused by Antifa at more than $2 million. The estimate follows months of rioting, mostly centered around the federal courthouse. This estimate does not include any damage to state, county, and/or city building, or damage to private property and businesses.

Antifa protesters suddenly cheered federal law enforcement agents and officers when they appeared to arrest an armed counter-protester Wednesday. The cheers followed shortly behind anti-police chants outside the Pioneer Courthouse in Portland, Oregon.

NAACP Chapter Distances from Antifa Violence in Washington State

The Vancouver, Washington, chapter of the NAACP condemned the recent violence that plagued the Portland, Oregon, suburb over the weekend. Antifa members crossed the Columbia River into the city on consecutive nights over the weekend and attacked residents and vandalized businesses.
