Bush: Russia must reverse course in Georgia
US President George W. Bush sternly warned Russia Monday not to overthrow Georgia's government, saying Moscow's invasion of its neighbor wounded its world standing and endangered ties with the West.

"Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century," Bush said a hastily announced statement at the White House.
