Jill Biden Delivers Cookies to National Guard Troops Following Capitol Controversy

First lady Jill Biden delivered a batch of cookies to members of the National Guard in Washington, DC, on Friday following the series of events Thursday evening that saw troops instructed to leave the U.S. Capitol and wait in a parking garage following a mask-related complaint from a Democrat congressman, although the lawmaker appeared to deny that the relocation of the members originated from his grievance.

Northwestern U. Labels Former Lecturer’s Column on Jill Biden ‘Misogynistic’

Northwestern University released a statement this week in response to a Wall Street Journal column by Joseph Epstein, who lectured at the university in the early 2000s. Epstein argued in a column published on Friday that Jill Biden should cease use of the title “doctor.” Biden earned a doctorate in education from the University of Delaware in 2007.
