Michael Jackson's death has sent studio bosses scrambling to make a last-minute edit of upcoming comedy "Bruno," the latest creation of British comic Sacha Baron Cohen, report says.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a scene which lampoons Jackson's sister LaToya was cut from the Los Angeles premiere of the film.

The Journal said the scene -- in which LaToya Jackson eats sushi from the body of a naked Mexican worker acting as a table -- was unlikely to be restored when the film opens in the United States on July 10.

"Bruno" is a follow-up to Cohen's smash-hit mockumentary "Borat", and sees the comic playing a flamboyant, celebrity-obsessed Austrian fashion journalist seeking to become famous in the United States.
