Cops: Man Commits 2 Shootings, 3 Carjackings, 2 Kidnappings in 74 Minutes

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Oakland police are seeking a suspect believed to be responsible for a slew of serious crimes, all of which took place within a 74 minute window late Tuesday morning. Police say that the suspect, 26-year-old Jamar Cleveland (pictured above) is believed to have committed two shootings, three carjackings, and two possible kidnappings between 10:43 a.m. and 11:57 a.m. The one man crime spree began when the suspect allegedly shot a woman and then carjacked another victim to flee the scene.  Subsequently, police suspect he carjacked two more victims, forcing one of them to drive him to another location at gunpoint. At some point along the way, he stopped at another location and shot a second victim.

Cleveland remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
