At What Point Do We Just Give Up?

I think I've hit my limit.

I don't care anymore. Or, putting it more clearly: I no longer have any hope that the things I care about will ever come to pass.

And even worse, I feel like I'm simply being conned into believing that our political representatives want any of the same things.

Have you guys considered this? At what point does "Never quit, never quit!" sound less like courage and more like naivete?

I know a lot of people say "Never quit" when they're in a fundamentally dysfunctional relationship, and then years go by, and then comes the grave.
